I discovered Austin public transportation last night. I have to say it’s pretty good. The bus costs .50 and it only takes 15 min to get down town from my house at rush hour. I took the bus down town with the intensions of going out to check out bars that I haven’t been to yet. Most of the bars in the 6th street area of Austin are college/ Spring Break type bars. They have a “Coyote Ugly” bar. Dumb. I did come across a pretty cool bar just off of Red River called “The Side Bar”. They have a great Juke Box and $2.00 pints of Lone Star. Not bad. I’ll check out some more next weekend. Oh yeah, the bus got me home in about 15 min also.
