The city of Austin is crazy about Lance Armstrong. I’m still not exactly sure why. He’s really from Plano, Tx. However, he has lived here in Austin for the past 15 years. Do people really care that he’s won the Tour De France 7 times or that he’s a testicular cancer survivor? I’m sure he’s a nice guy and everything but let’s face it, the only good thing he’s done in the last 15 years is to hook up with a hot piece of ass (Cheryl Crow). Oh, yeah, let’s not forget that he introduced the yellow rubber band bracelet.

This past weekend Lance decide that he wanted to thank the city of Austin for all their support by throwing a free concert and making his wife to be, perform. I went mainly because I was bored and it was free. I’m not sure of the exact number of people that showed up but I would have to guess it was around 5,000. All and all it was pretty fun.
