Today I purchased a Incase Slider case for my iPhone. I’ve been wanting one for a while now. The slider case looks really cool and it fits the iPhone like a glove. I paid $34.95 at the Apple store, which was priced comparably to the online stores that I looked at. However, it took me a long while to rationalize the price of $34.95 plus tax, for a $.50 piece of plastic. That price is 1/3 the price of the iPhone 3G. I felt ripped off for paying that much, but I needed/wanted a case and really couldn’t find anything that was comparable, for a lesser price. I probably would have felt a little better about paying that price, if I had at least received good service at the Apple store.
Anybody want to start a iPhone/iPod accessory company that doesn’t rip
off the consumer?
