The Colour of Money: Los Angeles

Guy Hepner in LA has an interesting exhibition coming up by some young photographers this Saturday. They have combined photos of different currency and laid graphics as commentary over the top.

Facebook Fan page vs. Places page= confusing

A few days ago I claimed our bar’s Facebook Places page (http://on.fb.me/c89ItT). The process was pretty simple, but required a copy of a utility bill and/or a change of email. The email change would have been the easier option but for some reason the “account settings” page was giving me a 404 error. Never-the-less, I received notification yesterday that I have succesfully claimed our page. Cool, well kinda. Now, if you do a search on Facebook for Double Down Lounge, you will be shown links for the Fan page and for the Places page. That’s pretty confusing. Since Facebook discourages business from setting up profile pages, you have to set up a Fan Page. Seems to me there should be an easy way to link the pages together. They do offer a guide (embeded below) for merging your Fan page with the Places page but by doing that you lose all the functionality of the Fan page. This is a pretty dumb move on the part of Facebook. They just added another layer of confusion.  If anyone has any suggestions for dealing with this issuem I would like to hear from you.

SKATE 3 INTRO- Possibly the best video games intro ever.

I’ve had to watch this several times. Anyone have an extra Xbox they can send me? Mine was stolen a couple of years ago.
